Sign up
Section titled “Sign up”app.alertkick.com/register asks for three things.
Subdomain. Your workspace address is <subdomain>.alertkick.com.
It is also how the mobile app, the API, and the local MCP binary find
the workspace, and it appears in every notification as the workspace
name. Choose the company or team name; it is hard to change later.
Data region. EU Central, US East, or Asia-Pacific. Everything the workspace stores - metrics, events, alerts, users - stays in that region, and the agent, pollers, and API endpoints your workspace uses are the regional ones. The region is fixed at sign-up.
Sign-in. Email and password, or Google or GitHub. Team members invited later can use any of the three, as long as the email address matches their invitation. Verify your email from the message you receive; inviting others is blocked until you have.
The trial and the plan
Section titled “The trial and the plan”A new workspace starts a 30-day trial with every Business feature and no card: 25 users, 25 hosts with the agent, unlimited monitors, AI triage, the SRE agent, and compliance. Admin, then Billing counts the days down.
Before day 30, pick a plan under Admin, then Plans - Free activates without a card; Professional and Business go through Stripe - or do nothing and the workspace moves to Free: the first 5 monitors and 5 heartbeats keep running, the rest pause, and agent-based hosts stop being monitored until a paid plan is chosen. First settings
Section titled “First settings”In this order:
- Your own channels and timezone under Settings - Profile and notification settings.
- The team under Admin, then Users - Users, roles, and invitations. Each person sets their own channels once they sign in.
- Slack under Admin, then Integrations - Slack.
- A default escalation policy under On-Call, then Escalations, so everything you add afterwards has somewhere to go - Escalation policies.
- Email notification format under Settings, then Email, if you would rather receive plain text or have bursts coalesced.
Then follow the quick start for the first monitor, heartbeat, or server.
Workspace-level settings worth knowing

Deleting a workspace
Section titled “Deleting a workspace”Settings, then Danger Zone, then Delete Account removes the whole workspace and cancels any subscription. It asks you to type the subdomain to confirm, and it cannot be undone.
